Full Description:
Carleton to Major-General Paterson. New York. Encloses embarkation returns of the troops and refugees going to the different parts of Nova Scotia, together with those of artillery, ordnance stores and provisions. Discussion with regard to the equipping and movement of troops, which include the Brunswick Hesse Hanau, Anhalt Zerbst, the Provincial and the King's American Dragoons. Sent an engineer to Port Roseway with regard to the establishing of a military post, Captain Hare of the Royal Artillery is also to be sent. Mentions the accounts of expendiutre for Paterson's district, and the Captain Callbeck affair.
