Major William Anstruther to Carleton. Bermuda. Maintaining that every transaction during his stay there has corresponded strictly and literally with the orders received. Lieutenant Dunn having pointed out the mode of drawing to be on the Secretary, Mr Morgann, believed he had the information officially. As Lieutenant Slack coincided, the bills were endorsed. As a proof of some failure respecting orders, Mr Watson has transmitted to his deputy Mr Stockton by this opportunity the full instructions to act as barrackmaster-general.
