Full Description:
Mr Chew to Major George Beckwith. New York. About four or five hundred families will offer themselves for Canada when it is known transports are fitting for that place, many having applied beside those named in the list enclosed. They are anxious to know what provision is to be made for them and in what manner they may expect grants of land. As soon as Beckwith knows, Chews asks him to inform him.
