Full Description:
Lord North to the Governor of Nova Scotia [John Parr]. Articles will be sent out for the use of the Loyalists settling in Nova Scotia. The king approves of giving the men of any disbanded corps the choice of becoming settlers. G H Monk had been appointed Superintendent of Indian Affairs in the room of the late Mr Franklin, and Isaac Deschamps is appointed a member of the council. Application shall be made to the Post Office for a proper number of packet boats to proceed from Falmouth to Halifax. [Noted in the Calendar, for another copy see 31 May].
