Full Description:
John Nutting, Halifax to Carleton. Thanks His Excellency for favours confered on him and his son. Lists losses he has sustained in government service and asks to be appointed as Surveyor of Lumber for 'the King's works in the province at 5s per day, and also grant him a warrant for being overseer of His Majesty's works and surveyor in this province'.
