Full Description:
Brigadier-General Archibald McArthur to Carleton reporting the state of the Commissary and the supplies therein available to feed the garrison and increasing number of civilian refugees. Reports the loss of a vital trading vessel and supplies. Details names of newly arrived former citizens of his province and the Bahamas Islands who wish to be evacuated to: England [47], Jamaica [85] and Providence [90]. He assesses the quantity of supplies needed for such voyages and seeks guidance as to how to proceed.
