[Carleton] to George Rose. New York. Number 18. Encloses a list of warrants for extraordinaries granted by him on William Deane Poyntz, Deputy Paymaster-General at New York from 1 January to 31 March 1783, amounting to £130,682 0s 0½d sterling. Also includes a state of the remitters agents cash and a state of the military chest to and from the same dates. Annexed is an account of money paid into the hands of the Deputy Paymaster-General with which he is to surcharge himself in his account with the paymaster-General
