Full Description:
Joseph Chew to Major George Beckwith. New York. Several persons whom he names belonging to Sir John Johnson's Regiment and to Butler's Rangers, have come in with other prisoners destitute of money and clothing and have requested him to represent their situation to the Commander-in-Chief. Postscript includes the numbers of persons who are daily calling on him and are desirous of removing to Canada, and who wish to know what provision will be made for them.
