Full Description:
Philip J Livingston to Maurice Morgann. New York. Requesting him to ask the Commander-in-Chief to appoint persons to audit the remaining account respecting the Refugee Fund of Long Island committed to his care by Lieutenant-General Robertson. Requests him also to lay before His Excellency the memorial presented a few days ago for permission to retire from office in Nova Scotia as the person is very desirous of embarking on the first fleet if he is favoured with countenance and aid in establishing a settlement.
