Full Description:
Carleton to Major-General James Paterson. New York. Number 11. Has received a letter of 13 April and is concerned to find that Paterson's ill state of health should require his return to Europe. However as it is thought necessary, he will appoint another officer to relieve as soon as possible, on whose arrival at Halifax Paterson will have permission to go home.
