Full Description:
Return of provisions and rum remaining in His Majesty's stores at Halifax in Nova Scotia, on 27 May 1783, with a calculation of the number of days they will serve the present garrison, 4,800 men for provisions, 4,500 men for rum. Items of provisions include biscuit, flour, pork, beef, butter, oatmeal, rice, peas, rum, molasses and vinegar. Signed by Roger Johnson and Major-General Paterson.
