Full Description:
Alexander White to Carleton. New York. Memorial. He was the High Sheriff of Tryon County. Discusses his imprisonment in New England for three years, part of the time in a cell in irons and relates his intention to settle in Canada. Prays a passage and some subsistence for himself, and likewise passage for the poor people of his county and that of Albany who have left their all.
