Full Description:
Inhabitants and Freeholders of the County of Westchester to Carleton. They are unhappily placed between His Majesty's lines and those of the enemy, many of the wretched inhabitants of the County of Westchester are subject to daily experience of evils which they neither merit nor know how to avoid. Applying to Carleton for justice from a lawless banditti who reside within the borough, and take advantage of their position between the British and American lines. Asks to meet with persons directed by him to attend to their complaints.
