Full Description:
Lieutenant-Colonel William Crosbie, Barracks Manager-General, to Morgann. Enclosing an extract of a letter from Admiral Mathew to Sir Henry Clinton, and dated at St Lucia, 26 April 1782. Discusses the fate of a cargo of lumber destined for the West Indies of which part was used by the Navy and the remainder was delivered to the Commanding Engineer for building barracks at New York.
