Full Description:
Lieutenant-Colonel Robert Donkin, Royal Garrison Battalion to the Secretary of War [Richard Fitz Patrick]. An Extract of a letter requesting that since the regiment had been disbanded, that every officer and man being 'regularly bred in the army and wounded or grown old must be reduced to great extremities' be returned to England, and for service given, are entitled to the Royal Bounty of Chelsea, on the forming of their corps in 1778.
