Full Description:
[General Sir Guy Carleton] to Lieutenant-Colonel Brown, Superintendent of Indian Affairs. A letter from New York acknowledging sending of 1 June containing the Indian talks made, and would write to Colonel McArthur on the state of matters and measures to be taken in the 'Indian country'. The matter of presents to Indians although founded for Canada, was universal in application, and not just for any individual.
