Full Description:
[Maurice Morgann] to David Thomas, Deputy Postmaster-General. A draft letter from New York in answer to his, stating that on orders given by the Commander-in-Chief regarding the expiration of the remitter's contracts on 'the 17th', no bills should be submitted by them from that date, and the money for them, not exceeding £10,000, to provide a military [war] Chest for St Augustine.
