Captain Charles Handfield, Paymaster of Absent Corps. Account of cash paid by Captain Charles Handfield to non-commissioned officers and men of absent British regiments between 25 April and 24 June 1783 inclusive. Listed under, regiments, men's names, upon what account, amount against each man of subsistence, number of rations, rations number of days and hospital stoppages, and total against the regiments of subsistence, number of rations, rations, number of days and hospital stoppages.
