Full Description:
John Monier to Brook Watson, Commissary-General. New York. Having presented a memorial to His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief desiring to be provided for within the limits of his command but finding no probability of that taking place, he now solicits leave to go and settle in Canada. Humbly prays Watson's interference with the Commander-in-Chief 'for such advanced pay recommendations and other indulgencies as to His Excellency shall think fit'.
