New York Volunteers. Abstract of 61 days pay due the commanding and staff officers, non-commissioned officers and private men of the New York Volunteers from 25 April to 24 June 1783. Listed under, number, rank, pay per day, amount per day, number of days and total amount. Totalling £864 10s 6¾d. Signed by Captain and Paymaster William Gray, and Lieutenant-Colonel George Turnbull. Also shown are an account of broken periods, an allowance to surgeon and paymaster from 25 December 1782 to 24 June 1783, and the names of the within officers.
