40th Regiment or [Somersetshire Regiment]. Account of 61 days subsistence of the 40th Regiment of which Lieutenant-General Sir Hamilton is Colonel, from 25 April to 24 June 1783. Totalling £827 11s 4d. Signed by Lieutenant and Paymaster Alexander Gray, Major Eyre, and examined by Cashier William Shipman.
