Full Description:
Thomas Stephens, John Davis, Henry Smith, John L Pintard and Thomas Victor to Carleton. New York. Memorial. They are a committee appointed by upwards of four hundred loyal inhabitants engaged to settle the Island of Abbaco [Bahamas]. They beg various necessaries, such as a military force, cannon, surveyor, vessle to carry horses, etc, etc. Accompanied by a detailed description of Abbaco, and a pencil drawing showing a plan of Lott Harbour.
