Full Description:
R Blake, Chairman of Committee, to Carleton. New York. Memorial. Written on behalf of Loyalists wishing to settle in Abbaco, one of the Bahama Islands. They beg some favour on settlement there and desire a few companies of militia to be appointed. Their number at the moment is about four hundred and they expect many to join them from St Augustine. They appoint as agents Captain Thomas Stephens and Captain Patrick Kennedy of the Pennsylvania and Maryland Corps.
