Full Description:
Aeneas MacKay to Carleton. Number 5 Crown Court, Westminster, London. Memorial soliciting a commission in any corps. He has quit the army without retiring to half pay and gives names of those who will attest to his character. Has made an application in the civil line but there were no vacancies at the time, even though he had thought of re-entering the service owing to his supposition that there were several vacancies in the army in North America.
