Full Description:
Lieutenant-Colonel Duncan Drummond to Andrew Elliot, Superintendant of Police. New York. Received previous letter enclosing quarterly accounts to 30 June 1783. The Port and Police Office not having been supplied with stationary from the Adjutant-General according to general orders of 25 January, he cannot certify these accounts without a particular order from the Commander-in-Chief signifying his approval of the stationary account objected to.
