James Putnam, Deputy Barrackmaster-General to Major Frederick MacKenzie. Barrack-Master-General's Office, New York. In compliance with an order received from the Adjutant-General, he has the honour to enclose a general return of furniture and untensil m,oney for the year 1783, which he requests is laid before His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief, that a warrant may be granted for the amount.
