Full Description:
Brook Watson to Major MacKenzie. Commissary-General's Office, New York. That all the linen, woollen, spades and felling axes found in the King's stores have been issued to the army or been given according to order to the Loyalists who have gone to Nova Scotia, and that more are still wanting to supply those now going. Wishes the authority to direct the storekeeper to buy 10,000 yards of linen at about 1s sterling per yard, 5,000 yards of woollen at 3s sterling per yard, 1,000 iron spades at about 6s sterling and 1,000 felling axes at about 4s 6d sterling. Approved of by the Commander-in-Chief. Signed by Mackenzie and Watson.
