Full Description:
[Carleton] to [Richard FitzPatrick]. New York. Number 44. Encloses an embarkation return of invalids going to England under the charge of Lieutenant Field of 4th Battalion, 60th Regiment and Lieutenant [Sperry] of the Garrison Battalion, who have orders to notify their arrival and await instructions on how they are to proceed. It can be perceived that in the return some men belong to regiments in the West Indies. They were sent May last from South Carolina when they were driven by stress of weather, whilst on their passage home from the Island of Jamaica.
