Full Description:
John Hamilton, Agent to Major Frederick MacKenzie. New York. Is informed by the Commissary-General that the Commander-in-Chief has signified that his commission for this office as agent for small craft should be immediately made out. Asks that he may receive it as he wishes to be recommended for half pay and has been advised to get his commission before presenting any memorial on the subject.
