Full Description:
John Crabb to Carleton. New York. Petition. Was obliged to abandon his estate in Dutchess County to avoid persecution. Had embarked his wife and children for Nova Scotia but on account of their illness, was obliged to disembark them. Is reduced to extreme poverty and begs relief. Three certificates testify to the state of the family being sick and suffering from the lack of necessary food. Signed by Samuel Nicoll, Isaac Ball Assistant Surgeon, and one other.
