Abstract of allowances ordered by His Excellency the Commander-in-Chief to the undermentioned distressed Loyalists for their support, from 1 April to 30 June 1783, unpaid. Listed under, number, name, from which province, and amount in New York currency. Included are those from New York, New Jersey, Massachusets Bay, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and the Wentworths Volunteers. Totalling £422 15s New York currency. Signed by Thomas Aston Coffin.
