Full Description:
Philip De Meyern to Carleton. London. Memorial. Was captain in a battalion of the King's Orange Rangers at Halifax. He left Halifax at the end of October last with leave of absence by Paterson, having the intention to raise men in Germany. Peace then concluded so he asked and received a new leave of absence. He drew no subsistence, having been informed his pay was stopped by order. He is greatly distressed and begs to be paid this subsistence. Noted on reverse of document that orders given to this purpose to Brigadier-General Fox.
