Full Description:
S[amuel] Shoemaker. New York. Certifcate. At the request of Major Upham certifies that John Sayre, William Morris and Conrad Ganter have been recommended by the Board appointed to consider the circumstances and claims of the distressed Loyalists, for payment of specified quarterly sums in New York currency as will appear in the lists of the Board. Note at the foot signed by J Upham that Conrad Ganter was prevented from going to Nova Scotia in April owing to his children's sickness.
