Leonard Lispenard to Carleton. New York. Asks that he be given possession of his buildings these being vacated by Prince Charles's Regiment under the command of Colonel Schreiber. Says he does not come within the description of those whose property was sequestered under the garrison regulations as he was always within the British lines; that he daily expects a large cargo of malt from England and has no place to store it unless he can use these buildings.
