Full Description:
Rear Admiral Robert Digby to [Carleton]. New York. As he is uncertain of calling on Carleton this morning, informs him that he shall be able to collect shipping for 4,000 troops within a fortnight and believes this is all he can do until the transports return from Nova Scotia. If Carleton decides to send home ordnance sufficient to load the 'Lady Amherst' it would be a considerable saving as she stands at a great expense.
