Full Description:
Robert Morse to Carleton. New York. Before he leaves for Nova Scotia, asks that Carleton recommends to Lord Townshend that Mr Castleman be made an engineer. Gives details of Castleman's career; is persuaded that Castleman will make a useful officer; has himself taken the liberty of recommending him to Townshend considering it a duty he owes to the service as well as to Castleman.
