William May. Information or statement about the activities of a Mr Poor [Power] who he had heard of as a man who had made a large sum of paper money and could and would at any time make exact copies of any kind and with whom he was curious to become acquainted. Poor told him that he had official permission to make the copies; he had not made any of Robert Morris's bills but would as soon as he had the pattern and wanted nothing but the paper. Subsequent actions of Poor and May. Mentions in connection with the purchase and passing of counterfeit bills the names of Mr Lyon, Daniel Forward from Connecticut, Mr Flinn of New York, Mr Bush, Mr Whitmore from the Jerseys, Benjamin Willard and Benjamin Howard.
