Full Description:
John Power's further examination. On his arrest was taken straight to the Main Guard where there were several people who appeared to direct the guard, does not know their names, they appeared to be from the other side of the Lines. The information he was given about the other men he met at Griffith's tavern. His exoneration of Dan Forward. That he did not sign any of the bills or notes but believes May did. Also his denial of telling Forward that the person who employed him to make the counterfeit bills was one of the American Commissioners named Smith. Asks to see the men who constitute the American Board at Black Sam's; if he sees the person with whom he dealt he will point him out.
