Full Description:
George Fisher. New York. Declaration. Is a storekeeper, late of Fishkill now of New York; that he sold goods to William May who paid with two of Morris's notes of 15 dollars each. His actions following the discovery that the notes were counterfeit; his application to the American Commissioners, Colonel Smith and Daniel Parker, and to Carleton who ordered Parker to be provided with a guard to apprehend May. The arrest of May at William Nichols's house and events thereafter. What was found at John Power's house in the way of type-plates &c. Names among others: Sylvanus Lyon, Lemuel Nichols, Mr Griffith, Dennis Flynn (Flinn).
