Full Description:
John Shee to Carleton. Petition. (No date). Was employed for two years and more on the armed boats on different services between this and Dobb's Ferry; that he left his job about four months ago in order to go to his friends in Europe but despite frequent applications to Mr Hubbard for the balance of his wages amounting to £24 currency, Hubbard declines to pay alleging that he has never received the money for that purpose. Prays that Hubbard be ordered to pay him immediately as he is just about to leave for Europe.
