[Carleton], New York to Governor John Parr, Nova Scotia. Encloses memorial of Samuel Fairlamb and John Rankin, agents for 60 families of Quakers who desire to settle in Nova Scotia. Recommends they be supported but regrets that difficulties prevent him from granting them land where they wish. [See Item No. 8677.]
