Full Description:
Brook Watson to Major Mackenzie. Commissary-General's Office, New York. To represent to Carleton that there remains in the King's stores nearly 1,000 tons of provincial clothing, new camp equipage, blankets, knapsacks and some cavalry equipment and 1,500 tons of pork and butter; none of which can be needed locally until December and therefore suggests that all the clothing &c. and 8,000 barrels of pork and 2,000 firkins of butter be shipped to Halifax.
