Full Description:
Brook Watson to Major Mackenzie. Commissary-General's Office, New York. That with Carleton's verbal permission he has directed the Paymaster of Contingencies to pay Richard Harris, a clerk of six years standing, now ill and going to take refuge at Abbaco, six months' advance pay at 10s a day to 24 February next. Also Philip Dumaresq six months' advance pay as a commissary going to victual the Loyal Refugees there to the 9 February next at 7s 6d a day. Asks for Carleton's written approval.
