Full Description:
[Carleton] to Governor John Parr. New York. Sends list of officers and men late of the Anspach Corps who have obtained permission to leave the service of the Margarve of Anspach and embark with Captain de Molitor for Nova Scotia, many of whom are valuable tradesmen and some farmers. They would like to settle in the same parts of the province with those who sailed from New York on 30 July of whom he also sends a list. Also sends lists of those who have received permission to retire from the German services, have served in America during the war and who wish to settle in Nova Scotia. Recommends them for such grants of land as have been made to others in the same situation.
