Full Description:
George Rine, formerly of Pennsylvania, miller, to Carleton. New York. Memorial. By reason of his loyalty to the Crown was obliged to abandon a valuable mill and farm the whole of which has been confiscated and sold; has been proscribed and attainted of high treason thereby rendering his return to Pennsylvania utterly impracticable. Thanks for the bounty hitherto allowed and asks to recommended to the governor of Nova Scotia for the allowance to be continued as he is incapable of supporting himself by his own labour much less of clearing and cultivating new land without assistance.
