Full Description:
17th Regiment of Light Dragoons commanded by Lieutenant-General the Honorable Thomas Gage. Account of 61 days' subsistence for the commmissioned and staff officers, and privates from 25 June to 24 August 1783 inclusive. £1,534 18s 7 94/100d (with deductions for non-effectiveness) £608 4s 6d is here deducted from £2,143 3s 2 24/100d while the warrant is made out for the full amount and deductions of various sorts specified. Signed Major R Archdall and John St Clair, paymaster and examined W Shipman, cashier.
