1st battalion 42nd, or Royal Highland Regiment commanded by General Lord John Murray. Account of 61 days' subsistence [for the commissioned, staff and non-commissioned officers, drummers, pipers and privates] from 25 June to 24 August 1783 inclusive. £1,822 7s 6d. Signed Major W. Home and Ensign James Rose, paymaster. Examined W. Shipman, cashier.
