Full Description:
Brigadier-General A Bruce. Statement. That Luther Baldwin and John Aickin [Thomas Aicken], inhabitants of New Jersey were confined by him on complaint of Lewis Blanchard of Staten Island, on a charge of carrying off a sloop from Deckers Ferry on 25 August. It was his property for which he paid £365 currency. Document witnessed by all the guards at the post of Deckers Ferry.
