Full Description:
[Carleton] to William Deane Poyntz. New York. Warrant Number 14 in the form of a letter. To receive from Gregory Townsend, Assistant Commissary the sum of £350 16s 5d sterling, being the net proceeds of sales arising from 'two hundred and thirty barrels of pease, ten casks rice, forty-four barrels oatmeal, one thousand one hundred and thrity-two bags and casks bread, condemned per survey 23 July last'. Also six hundred and fifty puncheons, ninety butts, and nine tons bags sold at public auction as per the annexed account. Asking Poyntz to grant the necessary discharges.
