Full Description:
Brigadier-General H E Fox to Carleton. Halifax. Refers to previous letter of the '15th'. Amongst the discussion is that with regard to the Governors wish for a detachment to be sent ot Passamaquaddy, a regiment being sent to Annapolis Royal, and the occupation of Fort Edward. Troops for Shelburne under Major Pitcairn, the moving of the Nova Scotia Volunteers, and the formation of a magazine at Eastern Battery. Sending a return of invalids which have left for Europe, and proposals from Lieutenant-Colonel Morse which he has approved. Mr Winslow being appointed Paymaster for the Engineer's Department, the Loyalists applications, and the enclosed list of barracks which he has been able to lessen the expense of hiring of to some degree. The granting of leave for Lieutenant-Colonel Campbell.
